Welcome to SAS Cervical Cancer Foundation
Mission Statement:
SAS Cervical Cancer Foundation is designed to assist families in Wisconsin emotionally and financially who are being effected by cervical cancer. To honor the memory of Sybil Ann Seehawer's fight with this horrible disease. To bring awareness and hope to others fighting the same battle.
History:
On July 20, 2007 Sybil was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer at the age of 30. In the year that followed she completed surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Her last year was filled with hope, frustration and determination. Sybil fought bravely and didn't complain. She traveled to Texas MD Anderson for alternative experimental treatment. During her entire ordeal she remained positive and was most worried about her children. September 13, 2008 Sybil's body released her from a year of pain and struggle. It is in her name, we as her friends move forward to help others in the same situation; this was Sybil's dream.
