January is Cervical Cancer Awareness month!
January 2010 -In recognition of Cervical Health Awareness Month, singer-songwriter and actress Mandy Moore, the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation (GCF) and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) are teaming up to launch the awareness campaign “Reality Check: What Young Women Don’t Know About Cervical Cancer”.
January 6th - The Pearl of Wisdom Campaign to Prevent Cervical Cancer launches asking women to take the Pearl Pledge and protect themselves from this preventable disease. The goal is to have 4,070 pledges – the same number of women who were expected to die from cervical cancer in 2009.

January 7th - Interview on WBAY-TV2 with Kevin Rompa to discuss SAS Foundation and promote Cervical Cancer awareness month.
January 8th - Sting Cancer "Miracle Minute" at Preble High School Friday Night Boy's Basketball Game to raise money and awareness for the SAS Cervical Cancer Foundation.
